Kiki Carr was born in Ontario, Canada and grew up in a small city East of Toronto. She studied Criminology from Ontario Tech University, focused in domestic violence, women’s studies, victimology, psychology, and sought to understand why people do what they do. After graduation, she spent years working in the social services field, followed by jumping into entrepreneurship roles.
As an entrepreneur, Kiki has been featured in She Does the City, East Magazine and Metroland Media. She found her footing as a blog editor for a high end Toronto wedding blog, and has written for Station Gallery, Golden Brick Road Publishing House, Medium and more.
Kiki is a writer and published author who focuses on personal development, human interest pieces, poetry, and mindfulness. In 2019, she was published in her first co-authored book, Unleashing Her Wild, a collection of stories written by women who have found a deep connection to intuition and instinct. Through her writing, Kiki’s goal has always been to empower others to empower themselves, and has been a speaker throughout the Greater Toronto Area to encourage others to create a life they love.
