Having lived a life as a fast-paced entrepreneur and starting my early career in giving to the world, I'm currently creating a life of intentional slow living.
As a vocation, I'm a writer and a flipper.
My debut poetry book SHE MADE WAVES is an Amazon bestseller, and I am a contributor in Umbrella Arts Magazine with the Quinte Arts Council. My online shop, Letterpress, is where you can view poetry prints to adorn your space, or books to spend the afternoon with. I also stock the online shop with vintage finds in drops, so be sure to subscribe to find out when the next one is.
I flip houses with my husband Ryan, something we've done together for almost 10 years. It all started with a red door on a couple acres with dreams of a simpler life. We learned we weren't cut-out for a 9-5 lifestyle and started carving our own path. He's the numbers guy, and I'm the creative gal - it works well. In the midst of our work, we somehow caught the eye of Corus and HGTV Canada, and here we are as new co-hosts of a show called Hoarder House Flippers. You ever do know, where life will take you. We're enjoying the ride.
The perfect Sunday:
Small town living on the shores of Lake Ontario, driving my 1974 beetle Paperbug, drinking tea, spending the afternoon with a good read, or writing my next book while Penny our yorkie is curled up on my lap. All while Ryan is working in his garage and Elroy our buff tabby begs to go visit him. I'll whip-up some cookies and bring him the fur-kids for a nice break and he can show us his latest welding project. The sun's out, maybe I can squeeze in some gardening later on.
